Rock and Pop Tour

Explore London’s extraordinary musical heritage

Explore London’s extraordinary musical heritage

Price:  £50 per person (minimum 6 people)

London’s musical heritage is second to none and DYT is here to whisk you off on a musical pilgrimage like no other.

Some of the World’s most iconic musicians of the 20th and 21st centuries have cut their teeth on the stages and in the studios of a city that boasts the world’s greatest musical masterminds. From The Beatles and David Bowie to Queen and Bob Marley, our Rock and Pop tour will revive the spring in your step, restore the rhythm in your feet and have you hopping home to listen to those classic albums back to back, A side to B side.

As you pound the streets of London, your personal Blue Badge Tourist Guide will show you the zebra crossing made famous by The Beatle’s world record-breaking album ‘Abbey Road’ – giving you the chance to see where the musical magic was made at the Abbey Road Studios and, as you’re in the area, you’ll even stop by to take a peek at the home where Sir Paul McCartney lived during the height of Beatlemania in the 60’s. You’ll have the chance to explore the area where Jimi Hendrix lived and died, the stomping ground of Freddie Mercury and Queen and experience the sights and sounds of Led Zeppelin’s HQ (Head-banging Quarters).

And if there are still minutes on the clock (and if that isn’t enough to scratch that musical itch) you’ll have the chance to see sites connected with The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and Cream, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Elton John, The Sex Pistols, David Bowie and The Who.
